Speech

•Conflict: Explain to the audience one major conflict in your novel, and discuss 2-3 possible resolutions. Make sure to include whether this conflict is person vs. person, person vs. self, person vs. society, or person vs. nature.

Touching Spirt Bear is about a kid who named Cole who almost beats a kid to death for ratting on him, when he goes to court he has 2 decisions to go to prison or go to the south of Alaska and stay there for one year where no one can find him, he decides to choose the 2nd choice. One major conflict is when Cole gets attacked by the bear. A resolution would be that he will kill the bear while he is asleep, he will get up in the middle of the night and he will sneak over to where the bear is hiding and he will either have the chance to kill it and he does or he has the chance but he doesn’t because he thinks back to the birds dying when the tree gets stuck by. This conflict would have to be person vs. nature, because, he was in the wild which is nature.
